Rapper Drake toured Brazil last week, which culminated with a performance at Rock in Rio last Friday.

Already back in his homeland, the Canadian icon posted a photo on Instagram wearing a Corinthians third shirt, attracting thousands of comments from fans all around the world.

In the caption, Drake warned: “Word of advice, don’t wear gifted football apparel abroad. [I] almost started a war at the bar.”

Drake caused a lot of controversy while in Brazil, refusing to taste the country’s food, vetoing the TV broadcast of his Rio performance, and complaining about lighting and photographers while he was on stage.

He was also criticised for ‘lacking charisma’ during his shows all throughout the country.

Hopefully, Corinthians do not fall victim to the ‘Drake curse’.
