There were no fewer than 12 goals scored by FC Bayern players during the latest international break. Following the opening matchday of the Google Pixel Women's Bundesliga season, the start of the UEFA Women's Nations League was next for Bayern Women. Here's a summary of the results from the first two rounds of matches:

Germany get first win

Klara Bühl, Lina Magull, Sydney Lohmann, Lea Schüller, Giulia Gwinn and Linda Dallmann met new Danish teammate Pernille Harder on Matchday 1 of the Nations League. The Germans went down 2-0 against the Danes, but recorded their first win in the new competition against Iceland with a 4-0 success. All four goals came from Bayern players with two for Bühl, a penalty from Gwinn and a header from Schüller as they led their team to victory against an Iceland side featuring Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir. Germany meet Iceland again during the next international break in October as well as Wales.

Pernille Harder celebrated victory against Germany.

Denmark won both of their opening fixtures, following up the 2-0 success against Germany with a 5-1 win over Wales. Harder scored three of the five goals.

Serbia also boast a perfect record so far. Jovana Damnjanović provided the winner in the 2-1 victory against Ukraine before netting twice in the 4-0 win against Greece.

Three goals inside nine minutes decided the clash between England and Scotland, in which Bayern duo Georgia Stanway and Samantha Kerr came up against each other. Lucy Bronze and Lauren Hemp put the Lionesses in front with goals in the 39th and 45th minute, with the Scots replying just before half-time. The scoreline stayed at 2-1 until the final whistle. On Matchday 2, luck wasn't on England's side as they lost 2-1 to the Netherlands courtesy of a 90th-minute winner.

Sweden and Magdalena Eriksson also registered one win and one loss. Before the match against World Cup winners Spain, the Swedes were honoured for playing their 100th international during the World Cup. Despite Eriksson's opening goal in the 23rd minute, it finished 3-2 to the Spaniards following a penalty in the 96th minute. In the second match, they managed to beat Italy 1-0.

For Iceland, Bayern's Viggósdóttir netted the only goal in a 1-0 win over Wales. That was followed by the 4-0 reverse against Germany on Matchday 2.

Netherlands started the competition with a 2-1 defeat to Belgium before beating England by the same score in the second game. Jill Baijings was in the squad but did not feature in the international break.
