Douglas Luiz is unhappy at Juventus, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he confirmed his discontent to Aston Villa players and directors on Wednesday.

Douglas Luiz is unhappy at Juventus, and his agent, Kia Joorabchian, is already looking for an escape route during the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old has only made nine appearances at Juventus after a €50m summer transfer and hasn’t yet scored or assisted for the Bianconeri.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Douglas Luiz confirmed his displeasure to former Aston Villa teammates on Wednesday.

Douglas Luiz was not available for the latest Champions League round, but he still travelled to Birmingham to visit his ex-club.

The Brazilian midfielder is not expected to return to action tomorrow when his Juventus side visits Lecce at the Stadio Via del Mare.

Gazzetta reported earlier this week that Juventus director Giuntoli had used the latest trip to England to offer Douglas Luiz and Nicolò Fagioli to Manchester City and United.
