Everton will welcome Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park this Saturday afternoon as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Toffees managed to secure a 3-0 win over Burnley in the EFL Cup earlier this week which will give them some confidence ahead of this game.

Sean Dyche will opt for a 4-4-1-1 formation and could make a couple of changes to his first XI for this game. Both Abdoulaye Doucoure and Nathan Patterson will get a chance to play from the start of this contest after they were rested in midweek.

Defence

Jordan Pickford will continue to feature in between the sticks for the Toffees after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. James Tarkowski and Jarrod Branthwaite will operate as Dyche’s primary centre-halves as they try to keep the Brighton attackers frustrated during the game.

Nathan Patterson could get an opportunity to impress as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko hopes to catch the eye as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Ben Godfrey and Ashley Young will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Amadou Onana and James Garner will try to anchor the midfield for the Merseyside club as they look to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. Dwight McNeil could get a chance to impress on the left wing while Jack Harrison hopes to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player.

Abdoulaye Doucoure will once again play in the number ten position. We can expect him to put in another hard-working performance this weekend.

Idrissa Gueye will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if Dyche opts to call upon his services.

Attack

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the Toffees in the final third. He failed to score in midweek but would be eager to find the back of the net versus the Seagulls.

Beto and Youssef Chermiti will make up the numbers on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the final quarter of this match if needed.
