Borussia Dortmund's hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League have received a major boost just minutes into their final game of the season.

Just minutes into their home clash against Holstein Kiel, Dortmund were awarded a penalty that was calmly converted by Serhou Guirassy.

If that wasn't enough, the visitors were also reduced to 10 men a few minutes later as Carl Johansson was shown a straight red card.

SC Freiburg are the other club in the hunt and a victory for them against Eintracht Frankfurt will guarantee them the final Champions League place, regardless of Dortmund's result.
