Borussia Dortmund will not be allowing Manuel Akanji to leave the club on a loan deal so a fee will need to be agreed upon, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, the German side are only interested in selling Manuel Akanji rather than sending him out on loan.

The Swiss defender is entirely out of the picture at Borussia Dortmund right now and is more than willing to make the move to Inter. It will take a transfer fee though for the deal to get off of the ground.

Borussia Dortmund have asked for €15 million but that is too much for Inter right now. The Nerazzurri hope that the Bundesliga side will start to soften their demands as the market draws towards its conclusion.

Inter are continuing to monitor Francesco Acerbi as he is a much more achievable deal.
