As you may well have heard about by now, Chelsea have a genuine interest in signing Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer. But then who doesn’t?
The 20-year is the hottest property in world football right now, and he is looking to be involved in one of the biggest transfer pursuits in history.

Chelsea are one of the major clubs interested in signing him this summer, as reiterated again in this latest report from ESPN.
However, they, and any other interested club, will have to stump up a whopping 180 million euros, as Dortmund set their price for him, per the report.
That roughly works out to be around £154 million of your finest English pounds and the question now of course, is will Roman Abramovich pay the fee?
ESPN note that senior figures at Chelsea believed they could tempt Dortmund into a deal this summer, but this was before the Bundesliga side’s position on Haaland’s fee became clear.
