Borussia Dortmund have come forward for Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca but the player only wants to move to Inter.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Dortmund have made an official approach for Scamacca and they have offered €45 million to the Neroverdi and are happy to leave the player on loan at Sassuolo till the end of the season. They see him as a replacement for Erling Haaland, who could leave in the summer.

It is an ideal offer for Sassuolo but the player prefers to stay in Italy with Inter, who are interested in him. The relations between the two clubs are very healthy and more than that, Sassuolo know that Inter like the player a lot and with Dusan Vlahovic now at Juventus, Inter will move for the Italian.

Inter can’t act this month as they have signed Robin Gosens and Felipe Caicedo will also come in. Scamacca has played abroad before and he doesn’t fancy moving away from Italy anymore and he sees Inter as the ideal destination for his development.

Sassuolo are already actively looking to sign forwards this month and are actively pursuing moves for Luca Moro and Lorenzo Lucca.
