Borussia Dortmund are said to be close to signing Salih Özcan from FC Köln.
BILD report that the midfielder is undergoing his medical at the club and is set to join for around €10m, while Sky say the fee could start at €8m plus bonuses.
Dortmund have been keen on signing a holding midfielder since announcing that Axel Witsel will leave as his contract expires this summer. Thomas Delaney was also sold last year without a replacement arriving.
Özcan had an impressive season at the base of the Köln midfield and would become Dortmund’s fourth signing of the summer.
The Schwarzgelben have already moved quickly to sign Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck as defensive reinforcements, as well as signing Karim Adeyemi from RB Salzburg to offset the departure of Erling Haaland.
