Dortmund youth players Paris Brunner, Almugera Kabar and Charles Herrmann have won the title at the U17 World Cup in Indonesia with the Germany U17 national team. DFB coach Christian Wück's team beat France 4-3 in a penalty shootout in the final.
Paris Brunner was in the starting line-up and fired his team into a 1-0 lead from the penalty spot in the 29th minute. Kabar were substituted on in the second half and converted the final spot-kick. Germany initially took a 2-0 lead but were then pegged back to 2-2 after conceding two goals.
