Doria focus on strength and tactics ahead of Napoli clash

Roberto D’Aversa’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Tuesday to continue their preparations for the visit of Napoli.

Luciano Spalletti brings his Azzurri side to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Thursday as part of Serie A Week 5 (18:30 CEST kick-off).

At the training ground on Tuesday, D’Aversa led the squad through a session focusing on strength and tactics.

Mohamed Ihattaren and Morten Thorsby were in the pool as scheduled, while Manolo Gabbiadini and Ronaldo Vieira continued working on their recovery plans. Valero Verre was limited to treatment and physiotherapy.

Samp have another morning session planned for Wednesday.
