Torino have signed Atalanta midfielder Aleksey Miranchuk.
Miranchuk moves to Toro on a season-long loan with the option to buy.
A club statement read today:
"Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has acquired from Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio - on a temporary basis with the option for definitive purchase - the right to the sports performances of the player Aleksey Miranchuk.
"Miranchuk was born in Slavyansk-na-Kubani, Russia, on October 17, 1995. Growing up as a footballer in the youth teams of Spartak Moscow and then in Lokomotiv Moscow, with the latter team he made his debut at the age of 17 in the Russian top league. In eight seasons he played 228 matches and scored 43 goals, winning a championship, three national cups and a Russian Super Cup.
"In 2020 was his arrival in Italy, with Atalanta, and collected 56 appearances and 9 goals in Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions and Europa League. For Miranchuk also 20 games and 1 goal in the Under 21 of Russia and 41 appearances and 6 goals with the senior national team.
