Parma have their first signing of the new season, as Velez Sarsfield midfielder Christian Ordonez will arrive tomorrow for his medical in a deal worth €8.5m.

Ordonez is expected to land on Italian soil on Thursday to undergo his medical tests and sign the five-year contract.

It is set to be a transfer worth €8.5m for the Argentina Under-20 international.

He turns 21 next month and is a product of the Velez Sarsfield youth academy who was promoted to the senior squad in January 2023.

Ordonez had also been linked with Bologna and Manchester United in January, but felt he would get more regular playing time at Parma.
