DONE DEAL: Northampton sign Fulham striker Kieron Bowie

Northampton Town have signed Fulham striker Kieron Bowie on loan for the new League Two season.

The 19-year-old started his career in Scotland with Raith Rovers before joining the Cottagers for a six-figure sum three years ago.

Bowie is the Cobblers' second signing in 24 hours after defender Harvey Lintott joined on a one-year deal.

The 19-year-old began his senior career with Gillingham but was released by the club at the end of last season.

"Kieron is quick, very good technically and a bright and clever player," Northampton boss Jon Brady said.

"He has an excellent scoring record for a young striker and our reputation for being a club that improves players helped us win the race for his signature."
