DONE DEAL: Napoli sign Getafe fullback Mathias Olivera

Napoli have completed the signing of Getafe fullback Mathias Olivera.

In a brief statement on Thursday, Napoli announced:

"President Aurelio De Laurentiis is pleased to announce that SSC Napoli have completed a deal to sign Mathias Olivera from Getafe.

"Mathias Olivera was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on 31 October 1997. He came up through the youth ranks at Nacional, going on to make his senior debut in February 2016 before signing for Spanish side Getafe in 2017.

"In summer 2018, the left-back moved to Albacete on a loan deal where he spent time playing in the second tier in Spain. The Uruguayan moved back to Getafe in January 2019 to feature in LaLiga, where he made 119 appearances across five seasons overall, scoring two goals along the way."
