Multiple sources are now confirming Football Italia’s report that Napoli now have an agreement in place with Torino over the transfer of goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic for a fee in excess of the player’s release clause.
As confirmed by Football Italia earlier in the week, Napoli and Torino have a deal in place for a permanent transfer, and the details were finalised today.
Despite the towering Serbian having a €19m release clause in his contract, Napoli have agreed to pay a higher fee of €21m in exchange for spreading the cost of the deal over a four-year period.

The 28-year-old will provide cover and competition for Alex Meret, who put pen to paper on a new contract that runs until the summer of 2027 earlier this window. That means that Antonio Conte will have two ‘no.1s’ heading into the 2025-26 campaign.
Milinkovic-Savic is expected to become sixth new Partenopei signing of the summer transfer window, following the previous additions of Kevin De Bruyne, Luca Marianucci, Lorenzo Lucca, Noa Lang and Sam Beukema.
