DONE DEAL: Man City fullback Pedro Porro excited to make Sporting CP move

Sporting CP have completed the signing of Manchester City fullback Pedro Porro.

Having initially appeared set to join Porto, Porro has now signed for Sporting on a two-season loan.

Porro was signed by City from their Spanish sister club Girona last year and spent last term on-loan with Ronaldo's Real Valladolid.

"I'm very happy. Sporting is a large club in Portugal and the project is exciting," Porro told his new club's website.

"It is a big step in my career. I will give everything this season."
