Juventus have succeeded in swooping to snatch Juan Cabal from rivals Inter, after agreeing a €12m including bonuses deal with Hellas Verona, as he will have a medical this week.
Only a few hours ago, multiple sources were confident that the Nerazzurri had it all in hand, for €10m plus add-ons and agreeing personal terms with the Colombian.
However, Juve dived in this afternoon and quickly clinched a deal with both club and agent.
Now Sportitalia, Sky Sport Italia, Fabrizio Romano and more are all confident it is a done deal.
Cabal is going to sign for Juventus for €10m plus another €2m in performance-related bonuses.
There could also be an additional bonus of Juve loaning Marley Ake to Verona.
The defender is ready to sign a five-year contract at €1.2m per season plus add-ons and undergo a medical over the next 24-48 hours.
Cabal is effectively the replacement for Riccardo Calafiori, in that he too is able to play as a left-back or a central defender when needed.
Juve had agreed personal terms with the Bologna defender, but his club preferred to sell abroad and are in advanced negotiations with Arsenal at a cost of over €50m.
