Chelsea have continued their big rebuild as they make a new signing from Arsenal just this week, confirms one reliable report yesterday.

The Blues need all the help they can get as they continue to stutter on the pitch. Although, in their last game they did manage to get all three points in a convincing win against Southampton.

The Blues won the game 4-0 in what was a much needed convincing performance, with goals coming from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto, Levi Colwill, and Marc Cucurella.

EXCLUSIVE! The Goalkeeper Chelsea were very close to signing over Robert Sanchez – fans would have much preferred this!

The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.

Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!

And now, we are hearing about a new staff member arriving from Arsenal this week.

Chelsea hire Mason

According to reliable outlet Training Ground Guru, Chelsea have continued to bolster their backroom staff by hiring Arsenal’s Mark Mason as Assistant Head of Goalkeeping.

And guess where he worked for some time? Yep, you’ve got it, Brighton!!

From 2012 to 2016, Mason worked with Brighton, in both Academy and first-team roles.

I’m sure many of you reading this story could have easily guessed that he once worked for Brighton. I think you’ll find it hard to find many of our staff who don’t have Brighton on their CV these days!
