DONE DEAL: Borussia Monchengladbach sign Inter Milan wing-back Valentino Lazaro

Borussia Monchengladbach have announced the signing of Inter Milan wing-back Valentino Lazaro.

After spending the second-half of last season on-loan with Newcastle United, Lazaro will now play in Germany next term.

The Austria international joins Gladbach on a 12 month loan worth €1.2m with the option to sign permanently for €13.8m.

"We are very happy that the loan went well and that Tino decided on Borussia," said Gladbach sports director Max Eberl.

"He is a very flexible player who will give our squad even more quality and depth."
