DONE DEAL: Athletic Bilbao snap up Amorebieta striker Gorka Guruzeta | OneFootball

Athletic Bilbao have snapped up striker Gorka Guruzeta.

Guruzeta have reached an agreement to join the first team for the next two seasons, until 2024, with an optional third year depending on a series of variables. The player from San Sebastian arrives free of contract and backed by his great season with SD Amorebieta in LaLiga Smartbank, with whom he has scored 13 goals.

Guruzeta (25) already made nine appearances as a Lion in the 2018-19 season, scoring a goal in Copa against Sevilla FC. He arrived at youth age from Antiguoko and scored 48 goals between Basconia and Bilbao Athletic, 31 of them in the red and white second team.

The player will start working under Ernesto Valverde's orders on Monday and will hold a press conference at the Lezama facilities in the near future.
