DONE DEAL: Arsenal director Edu delighted to sign 'special' Fabio Vieira from Porto | OneFootball

Arsenal have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Fabio Vieira from Porto.

The Gunners will pay a total fee worthof £34.1million overall, with £4.2m of that held back in performance-related add-ons.

Vieira, 22, ended his holiday prematurely to pen a five-year deal with the north London club.

Gunners technical director Edu said: "We're so pleased to have completed the signing of Fabio from Porto. Fabio is a player with special qualities who is comfortable with the ball in the final third of the pitch.

"We are all looking forward to working with him and enjoying his future contribution to Arsenal. We will now continue to work hard and are looking forward to finishing this transfer window as strongly possible."
