Defence

They are expected to form the heart of the defence yet again. No change in the left-back spot as Ashley Young will continue as Vitalii Mykolenko has been ruled out the rest of the season due to an ankle injury.

Midfield

Idrissa Gueye scored the only goal against Luton Town to bring three vital points. He will form the holding midfield duo with James Garner. Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison continue to operate on the flanks.

Attacking midfield Abdoulaye Doucoure has the room to step up in the upcoming games.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin missed the previous game due to illness and Youssef Chermiti took his spot in that match. However, the latter wasn’t convincing enough in the final third. But the Toffees wouldn’t want to risk Calvert-Lewin as the Premier League berth is already confirmed.

Nathan Patterson (thigh), Dele Alli (groin), Seamus Coleman (groin), and Lewis Dobbin (ankle) are the other confirmed absentees.
