Everton will be back in action after almost 10 days of break. Their previous scheduled game against Liverpool was postponed due to a thunderstorm. Their next game is a tough fixture which is against Arsenal in the Premier League in an away package.

The Toffees will try to give a tough night to the hosts for sure. It will be an important game considering the fact that Everton will have to face the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City in the upcoming weeks. Hence, having a good momentum behind will be critical.

Defence

Jordan Pickford is the first-choice goalkeeper for Everton and no doubt that he is starting between the sticks if fit. Right-back Ashley Young might be the oldest player on the pitch but his performance says otherwise most of the time.

James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite will once again form the heart of the defence. They will have a big role to play if Everton want to secure a positive result. Vitalii Mykolenko also looked good in the previous game and should be ready to take onto the field as the left-back.

Midfield

The holding midfield pair of Idrissa Gueye and Orel Mangala have been effective. They will have to work hard to neutralize the Gunners’ solid midfielders.

Attack

While Iliman Ndiaye is operating on the right flank, Dwight McNeil continues his show from the other flank. Both wingers have the ability to prove to be a game-changer.

Abdoulaye Doucoure remains the attacking midfield in the lineup with Dominic Calvert-Lewin deployed as the striker. Though the latter’s numbers aren’t much impressive, he still holds the key to the team’s success.

Chermiti (unspecified), James Garner (back) and Tim Iroegbunam (ankle) are unavailable, while Michael Keane (knee) will be assessed before the game.
