Inter cruised past Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal to book a showdown with Napoli as they look for a third straight triumph in the competition.

Inter poured the pressure on Lazio in the opening 45 minutes. Maurizio Sarri’s men will have been thanking their lucky stars to only be 0-1 down heading into break.

Nevertheless, a 17th minute strike from the Marcus Thuram was the only goal of the opening interval, despite the Nerazzurri somehow fluffing their lines on a few more high-quality scoring chances before half-time.

It remained all Inter after the break, and they doubled their lead from the spot through a cool finish by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, all but wrapping up their qualification to the final before the second half was fully underway.

A late strike on the break from Davide Frattesi was the icing on Inter’s cake, as they booked their spot in the final.

Inter will face Napoli in the final.
