D’Mani Mellor will be leaving Manchester United this summer.

The 21-year-old forward has taken to social media to say he is excited for his ‘next step’ now as a free agent.

Mellor suffered a major injury setback and missed the entire 2020/21 season due to an ACL injury, but he went on loan to Salford City earlier this season. That is where he discovered that he is not quite ready for regular football at senior level.

In the second half of the season, Mellor scored 8 goals for the U23s, but his contract will now expire.

Mellor turns 22 in September and we could see him make a regular switch to a Football League club.
