West Brom will be without Daryl Dike for around two months after the striker suffered a hamstring injury against Peterborough last time out.
The 21-year-old was a big-money addition for Albion earlier this month, with all at the club hoping Dike would be the man to solve their goalscoring problems and help the team to promotion.
However, the Baggies are going to have to do without the USA international for around eight weeks after it was confirmed Dike’s injury, which came in his first start for the club in the win over the Posh, was worse than first feared.
As you would expect, this was not the news that the Albion fans wanted to hear, particularly as there was so much excitement about how the former Orlando City attacker would improve the team.
