Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi is the latest defender to be linked with a move to Juventus, but the Bianconeri reportedly want the Frenchman to be the club’s second defensive addition during the January transfer window.

Juventus are targeting moves for multiple defenders this month following the long-term knee injuries suffered by Bremer and Juan Cabal earlier in the season.

A long list of centre-backs have been linked with a move to Turin this month, including Feyenoord’s David Hancko, Benfica’s Antonio Silva, Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo, Milan’s Fikayo Tomori, and even Disasi’s Chelsea teammate Benoit Badiashile at one stage.

According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are still hoping to pull off a deal for either Antonio Silva or Araujo this month, and would like Disasi to come in as a second option.

Di Marzio reports that Juventus could look to bring Disasi in on loan with an obligation to buy linked to the number of appearances he would make over his temporary stay.

The Frenchman’s versatility is understood to be one of the key selling points, as he can cover a number of roles across a back four or back three, including at right-back.
