Diogo Monteiro leaves Leeds United

Leeds United can confirm that Diogo Monteiro has joined Portuguese side FC Arouca in a permanent deal.

The defender signed for the Whites from Swiss outfit Servette FC in 2023 and has featured regularly for the Under-21s throughout his time at Thorp Arch.

Monteiro was an important part of Scott Gardner’s side that last year lifted the National League Cup, with the 20-year-old scoring against Sutton United in the final.
