A pair of game-worn Diego Maradona shirts have fetched nearly €20,000 at an auction in Italy.
The jerseys, both of which were worn by El Diego during his time at Napoli, went under the hammer at the Aste Bolaffi auction house in Turin.
The first, a long-sleeved, red No.9 shirt worn during the 1990/91 campaign, was sold for €12,000.
And then later on an iconic blue No.10, worn during 1986/97 sold for €6,500.
Other items in the auction also included a Paul Gascoigne Lazio shirt and one of Michel Platini’s Juventus jerseys.
