Diego Forlán was once named the best player at a World Cup. He now plays for Kitchee Sports Club in the Hong Kong Premier League.
The Uruguayan legend is now 38 and clearly isn’t the all-around player he used to be.
But he can still strike a ball magnificently, as he showed on Sunday.
Forlán scored twice as Kitchee ran out 7-0 winners against HK Rangers.
One of the goals was a pinpoint free-kick that reminded us of Forlán’s great strikes of yesteryear.
The level of goalkeeping might not be that high but it’s nice to see Forlán still banging them in.
