The Mauro Icardi saga could have yet another insane twist.
Uruguayan legend Diego Forlan, who played for both Atlético Madrid and Inter Milan, made an outrageous claim about Atléti’s World Cup-winning striker Antoine Griezmann.

“If Griezmann stayed at Atlético Madrid he would become a club legend, but Inter will buy him once Icardi is sold,” Forlan told ESPN.
“The club have told me this.”
Griezmann, who has a reported €100m release clause, has had yet another stellar season for Atlético, scoring 18 goals and adding eight assists in 39 matches in all appearances this season.
The 28-year-old has bagged 130 goals and registered 48 assists in 248 appearances with the club in his career.
