Flamengo head into their final match of the season needing to defeat São Paulo to win an improbable title that would see Brazil crown their first back-to-back champions in seven years.

Flamengo could also lose or draw and still win the title if Internacional fail to beat Corinthians.

The rubro-negro would claim their eighth title should they lift the trophy on Thursday. Today, they released their 26-man squad for the clash.

For the contest, Rogério Ceni practically has his whole squad to choose from, including Diego Alves and Willian Arão.

However, the star goalkeeper has little chance of entering the pitch while Arão will be a game-time decision to see if he can play on his fractured toe.

It’s worth remembering that Flamengo have lost all three games against São Paulo this season, with all three games taking place in an 18-day span in November.

Flamengo fell 4-1 at home in a league contest on the 1st of the month before dropping both Copa do Brasil decisions by 2-1 and 3-0 margins.
