Didier Deschamps on Mbappé/Giroud tension: “It is a non-problem.”

Speaking in an interview with TF1, France boss Didier Deschamps sought to definitively put to bed speculation over tensions between Kylian Mbappé and Olivier Giroud.

“It was certainly amplified. That Olivier Giroud, like all forwards, says that he is not receiving the ball, that is a non-problem. There was not any meeting called for, I speak with the whole squad. Today, what we can say, is that the smallest word can lead to an interpretation that can be varied in nature. The most important thing is what is happening internationally. And internally, there are no problems.”
