AC Milan are interested in signing Jakub Kiwior from Spezia but face competition from West Ham United who have made a bid, a report claims.

MilanNews recently reported that Milan managed to obtain the right to first refusal for two Spezia players as part of Mattia Caldara’s move there. One player is Kiwior and the other player is French defender Kelvin Amian.

According to a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham are very keen on signing Kiwior and have even sent an offer worth €12m for the Poland international.

The report adds that the Hammers are one of many clubs that have shown an interest in Kiwior in the last few weeks, including Milan, but the Rossoneri have asked to be kept informed about him.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara view it as a situation to keep an eye on for the January transfer window or potentially next summer but Spezia are now thinking about whether to accept West Ham’s offer or to keep him until January, when a good performance at the World Cup may have boosted his price.
