Di Marzio: Milan ask for Tottenham defender on loan – answer expected on Monday
SempreMilan
The centre-back search continues for AC Milan and after yesterday’s defeat, it’s even more evident that a reinforcement would do them good. And as a report claims, they have asked for Tottenham defender on loan.
The Rossoneri currently have just three centre-backs available, two of which are very young and quite inexperienced. Therefore, it only makes sense to sign a centre-back also since this is a very important season for the club.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, who spoke live on Sky Italia this evening (via MilanNews), Milan’s dream signing remains Sven Botman but it’s a very difficult operation. Instead, they have asked for Tottenham man Japhet Tanganga on loan.
Spurs’ sporting director, Fabio Paratici, made it clear that they have to wait until at least Monday as they will face Leicester and Chelsea. Furthermore, they also don’t know the recovery time of Cristian Romero.
A final answer is expected on Monday, per Di Marzio, and the answer will depend on the condition of Romero.
