Di Marzio: Milan and Lecce will complete Colombo’s move on Monday – the formula
SempreMilan
Lorenzo Colombo is just one step away from leaving AC Milan. The young striker, who was out on loan last season, will be sent out again but this time to Lecce. The deal will be sanctioned on Monday, a report claims.
The youngster spent last season on loan at SPAL and he managed to find the back of the net six times in 34 appearances. Not a whole lot, but some of his goals were really well-taken and hinted at his potential.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan and Lecce will exchange documents on Monday morning for the move. It will be a season-long loan with an option to buy as well as a buy-back clause in favour of the Rossoneri.
Lecce earned promotion to the top flight this past season and that means Colombo will get Serie A playing time again. Once the documents have been exchanged, he will be able to undergo his medical and sign the contract.
