Di Marzio: 18-month loan lined up for Pellegri after permanent Milan move
SempreMilan
Pietro Pellegri has failed to impress the Milan fans since he arrived on loan from Monaco last summer. Despite this, the Rossoneri directors believe in his potential so much that an early permanent move is being discussed.
The striker is yet to find the back of the net for Milan and he has struggled a lot with injuries, playing just a total of 127 minutes. However, as said, the Rossoneri are looking to sign him from Monaco earlier than expected.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, negotiations are ongoing between Milan and Monaco to define the figures of the operation. Once that is settled, Pellegri will join Torino on an 18-month loan to get more playing time (until June 2023).
MilanNews reported earlier this evening that the first offer Milan made for the striker was €3.5m plus bonuses, which Monaco deemed too low. It remains to be seen what the final figure will be, therefore.
