Eusebio Di Francesco did not sound happy in his post-match interview with DAZN in the aftermath of Roma 2-1 Venezia.
The Italian technician lamented the game’s final result.
“We played a great game for 70 minutes,” said Di Francesco.
“Credit to Venezia, but we’re also at fault for not having closed the game earlier,” he added.
“When you commit such naive mistakes, it’s a shame,” he said.
“Today, the team that deserved to take home the three points was Venezia.”
“We put Roma in difficulty and we deserved more.”
