The DFL have today released their fixture list for the 2022/23 Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga seasons.
Bundesliga 2022/23 – Week 1:

- Eintracht Frankfurt vs Bayern Munich
- Borussia Dortmund vs Bayer Leverkusen
- Union Berlin vs Hertha Berlin
- FC Köln vs Schalke
- Borussia Mönchengladbach vs Hoffenheim
- Wolfsburg vs Werder Bremen
- Bochum vs Mainz
- Augsburg vs Freiburg
- Stuttgart vs RB Leipzig
The first round of Bundesliga fixtures looks to be a promising one with Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt opening the season against Bayern Munich. Schalke and Werder Bremen also return to the top flight with away trips to Köln and Wolfsburg whilst there’s also a Berlin derby.
2. Bundesliga 2022/23 – Week 1:
- Kaiserslautern vs Hannover
- Greuther Fürth vs Holstein Kiel
- St. Pauli vs Nürnberg
- Paderborn vs Karlsruher SC
- Hansa Rostock vs Heidenheim
- Sandhausen vs Arminia Bielefeld
- Jahn Regensburg vs Darmstadt
- Magdeburg vs Fortuna Düsseldorf
- Eintracht Braunschweig vs Hamburg
The DFB Pokal first round will also be played over July 29-August 1 whilst the DFL Supercup between RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich will be contested on July 30. Eintracht Frankfurt will face Real Madrid in the UEFA Supercup on August 10.
