It’s cup final day in Germany and Borussia Dortmund will take on RB Leipzig at the Olympiastadion.
Will Dortmund win their fifth DFB Pokal or will Leipzig claim their first ever major trophy, two years on from losing the final to Bayern Munich?
OneFootball users in the UK, France, Italy, the Netherlands and more can watch the DFB Pokal final LIVE for FREE in the app on Thursday.
All the talk is about Julian Nagelsmann’s last chance to win silverware with RB Leipzig but the same goes for Dayot Upamecano.
He’ll have his hands full, especially if Erling Haaland is ruled fit, and will hope to improve on his two outings against Dortmund so far this season.
Jadon Sancho has been in top form for Borussia Dortmund this year, scoring or assisting 18 times in his last 18 appearances.
With or without Erling Haaland, who is in a race to prove his fitness, the Englishman will be key to Dortmund’s hopes.
Leipzig have surprisingly left Angeliño out of their squad for “sporting reasons” despite no player having more than his 19 goals and assists so far this season. Christopher Nkunku returns.
RB Leipzig (3-5-2): Gulásci; Konaté, Upamecano, Orbán; Mukiele, Sabitzer, Kampl, Olmo, Halstenberg; Nkunku, Sørloth.
Goalkeeper Marwin Hitz is out for Dortmund, meaning Roman BĂĽrki will come in, while Erling Haaland faces a late fitness test.
Borussia Dortmund (4-2-3-1): BĂĽrki; Piszczek, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro; Bellingham, Can; Reyna, Reus, Sancho; Haaland.
“We’ll try everything possible to win the Pokal. That has no impact on my personal development, it’s about the club, the players, being able to celebrate together.” – Julian Nagelsmann
“I’ve flown to the final in a plane, I’ve taken the train as a fan and as an employee. Now I’ll be on the team bus for the first time. But it isn’t about me winning the Pokal, but BVB. For the fans, for all our co-workers, for the club.” – Edin Terzić
