An insight into the expected increase in seating capacity at La Liga giants Barcelona’s new-look Camp Nou has today been forthcoming online.

Renovations, of course, have long been underway at Barcelona’s beloved home ground.

Amid efforts to bring the Camp Nou in line with some of football’s most modern stadiums, the Blaugrana brass green-lighted a major makeover, which will see everything from stands, facilities and fan experience upgraded.

The hope is that the venue will be opened to fans towards the end of this year, albeit at a reduced capacity of around 60%.

Upon its full opening, though, what kind of increase in seating can the Barcelona faithful look forward to?

As alluded to above, an insight has today been provided into as much.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘The capacity of the Barcelona stadium, once completely remodeled, will increase from the 99,354 seats before the works to a total of 104,600 seats.’
