The fallout from the La Liga meeting between Real Madrid and RCD Mallorca on Sunday night has continued at the former on Monday.

This comes amid claims on the part of Real Madrid TV that the team of officials were responsible for a whole host of major mistakes across the 90 minutes at Son Moix.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Blancos are of course fresh off an altogether underwhelming start to the defence of their Spanish top-flight crown.

After making the trip to Mallorca late last night, the capital giants were forced to make do with a share of the spoils, owing to a 1-1 stalemate.

The clash was rife with controversy, featuring penalty appeals, heavy fouls, and an eventual injury-time red card.

And, as alluded to above, those behind the scenes at Real Madrid TV are evidently of the opinion that their side were the ones left hard done by on the part of referee Soto Grado and his team.

In fact, the Blancos’ in-house media channel has today highlighted no fewer than eight incorrect decisions which they consider to have been to the benefit of Mallorca.

As per a report from Diario AS, the calls surrounded the following:

A Samu Costa foul on Vinícius Jr. on the five-minute mark, a penalty shout for Kylian Mbappé minutes later, the harsh reaction of Soto Grado to Vinícius’ message to the crowd, a series of fouls by Maffeo on Vinícius, Maffeo’s stamp on Vinícius late in the first-half, considered worthy of a red card, a penalty shout for Éder Militão, a stamp by Samu Costa on Federico Valverde, and finally another penalty claim for a Maffeo handball in injury-time.
