An insight into the financial terms of the contract set to be penned by Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal upon turning 18 has on Friday been provided.
Wide-man Lamine, for his part, has of course spent the season to date continuing to make a name for himself as world football’s standout young talent.
After finding the net once again en route to Barcelona’s Champions League draw with Atalanta on Wednesday, the Spaniard took his tally for the campaign to 22 direct goal contributions in 28 appearances.
Such remarkable exploits have not gone at all unappreciated on the part of those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, with an agreement having long been in place for Lamine to pen a long-term contract extension on his 18th birthday.
And, as alluded to above, on Friday, an insight into some of the finer details of as much has been provided.
The info comes courtesy of El Chiringuito TV, and confirms that the renewal date has been set for this coming July 13th.
When it comes to the financial terms, Lamine and his entourage have negotiated an annual salary in the region of €7-8 million.
As much means that, despite his tender years, the explosive winger is set to become the third highest-paid player in Hansi Flick’s squad, behind only Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong.
