City’s cup journey began with an unbeaten run in the group stages. A 2-1 away win over Everton before an emphatic 5-1 win over Peterborough United on home soil.

A 1-1 draw against West Bromwich Albion guaranteed City’s place in the knockouts.

A tough test awaited when we welcomed last season’s Under-18 Premier League South and FA Youth Cup champions, West Ham, to the City Football Academy.

First-half goals from Michael Okeke and Ashton Muir secured a 2-1 win and City’s spot in the final four.

A 3-1 away victory over Leicester City showed City’s tenacity as we fought back from a goal down to win in extra-time courtesy of late strikes from Muir and Matty Warhurst which followed Jaden Heskey’s second-half equaliser.

The Under-18 Premier League Cup final isn’t the only cup competition City are fighting to win.

Wilkinson’s youngsters are also through to the semi-final of the FA Youth Cup. We welcome Bristol City to the Joie Stadium with kick-off at 19:00 (UK) on Tuesday 2 April and is also available to watch live on CITY+.
