Douglas Luiz has been officially unveiled as a Juventus player after the Bianconeri and Premier League side Aston Villa, agreed on deal worth around €50M.

As part of the agreement that has taken the Brazilian international to Turin, two Juventus youngsters, Samuel Iling-Junior and Enzo Barrenechea, have gone in the opposite direction with both Aston Villa and Juventus confirming their arrivals on Monday.

20-year-old midfielder Iling-Junior, who was born in London, spent four season’s in Turin and made 36 appearances in Serie A scoring two goals and making three assists, whilst 23-year-old defensive midfielder Barranchea, spent last season on-loan at relegated Frosinone where he made 39 appearances.

Gianluca Di Marzio writes that the duo’s arrival in Birmingham will account for €26M of the total sum that Juventus will eventually pay to Aston Villa over a four year period. There will also be €1.5M in extra costs to add to the final total.

The player will join his new team-mates following the conclusion on the Copa America in the USA.
