According to Florian Plettenberg, Rennes attacking midfielder Désiré Doué (19) prefers a move to Bayern Munich over a potential move to Paris Saint Germain this summer.
Several clubs have shown an interest in signing the Rennes player this summer but it appears that the player is now giving his preference to the Bundesliga club dealing a blow to PSG. Plettenberg reports that Max Eberl and Bayern boss Vincent Kompany have been able to convince him to swap France for Germany during the summer transfer window. Doué has agreed personal terms with Bayern.
Despite the Bundesliga giants convincing Doué to join the club, an eventual materialising may take some time. The Munich club will have to make sales before they can submit an offer that matches the expectations of Les Rogues et Noirs. Bayern Munich are willing to pay between €55m and €60m for the French attacking midfielder. It remains to be seen whether PSG will look to take advantage of this situation.
