Derby County won the FA Women’s National League Plate, while AFC Wimbledon clinched the Division 1 South East title.

LEAGUE PLATE FINAL

Cambridge United 0-3 Derby County

An Eleanor Ashton penalty and Amy Sims effort gave Derby a 2-0 half-time advantage over lower division Cambridge United. Emily Joyce wrapped up the trophy for the Rams, with a third goal from distance at Broadhurst Park Stadium.

NORTHERN PREMIER DIVISION

Burnley were 3-0 winners over Liverpool Feds at Turf Moor. Brenna McPartlan netted and Aimee Kelly forced an own-goal, before Rhema Lord-Mears completed the scoring in the second half.

Wolves stunned Nottingham Forest by coming from 3-0 down to win 4-3. Amber Hughes, Beth Merrick and Fergusson scored for Wolves, before Merrick got her second to win it in added time.

Delphi Cole put West Brom ahead against Stoke at the Bet365 Stadium, before Rosie Kivel and Heidi Logan turned the game around by half time.

Kari Chan and Codie Thomas scored as Fylde claimed a first win of the season against Huddersfield Town, while Halifax held champions Newcastle United to a goalless draw.

Hashtag United secure second spot with a narrow win over Chatham Town, champions Portsmouth had to twice come from behind as Ella Humphrey’s hat-trick gave them the points at Cheltenham Town.

MK Dons’ Gemma Biggadike grabbed a late leveller at Oxford United, who lost fourth position to Ipswich Town after they fought back to beat Cardiff City Ladies. Lucy O’Brien’s treble was decisive, while the Welsh side had a player sent off in added time. Rugby Borough scored five on the road, while Kathryn Dickson’s equaliser for Plymouth Argyle at Billericay Town kept the Pilgrims above their hosts.

DIVISION 1 MIDLANDS

Sporting Khalsa’s Layla Kennerly got the only goal of the game at Leafield Athletic, as they went top of the table with a game to go. Sheffield FC got off the bottom with an excellent 1-1 result at Loughborough Lightning, who now go into the final game well behind Khalsa on goal-difference. Leek Town slipped to the foot of the table, after a home defeat to Sutton Coldfield.

DIVISION 1 NORTH

Chorley 2-1 Barnsley WFC (Att: 120) Durham Cestria 3-0 Chester le Street Town (Att: 85) Hull City 1-1 York City Norton & Stockton Ancients 3-3 Middlesbrough (Att: 478) Stockport County 3-3 Leeds United

York City are just two points above the relegation zone but held leaders Hull City 1-1 away. Middlesbrough were unable to take advantage of the Tigers’ slip up, sharing six goals at Norton. Defeat at Durham Cestria leaves Chester le Street in the drop zone.

DIVISION 1 SOUTH EAST

Actonians 3-3 London Seaward Ashford Town 3-1 Haywards Heath Town (Att: 57) Chesham United 2-2 Queens Park Rangers (Att: 85) Norwich City 4-1 AFC Sudbury (Att: 538) Worthing 2-2 AFC Wimbledon (Att: 240)

AFC Wimbledon got the point they required at third-placed Worthing to be crowned champions. The draw took them out of the reach of Norwich City, who had done all they could on the day by beating AFC Sudbury 4-1.

DIVISION 1 SOUTH WEST

AFC Bournemouth 18-0 Selsey Abingdon United 0-2 Swindon Town Exeter City 5-0 Bridgwater United Maidenhead United 2-1 Keynsham Town (Att: 60) Moneyfields 6-0 Southampton Women (Att: 60) Torquay United 0-4 Portishead Town

Exeter City put five past Bridgwater United, to remain top by two points and with two games left. AFC Bournemouth thrashed Selsey 18-0 to move their goal-difference to within five of the leaders. Moneyfields – who host the Cherries on Thursday – secured third spot when hitting six against Southampton Women. The Sirens have a three-point advantage over Torquay United in the battle to stay up.
