FLW brings you all the latest news from Derby County.
Derby County are gearing up for their second term back in the Championship following their promotion in 2024.
The Rams secured their second-tier status under John Eustace last season and are now looking to further settle down in the Championship with the 45-year-old.
Patrick Agyemang, Andi Weimann, Danny Batth, Richard O'Donnell, Carlton Morris, and Owen Beck have all arrived at the club thus far in the summer transfer window.
And with just under two weeks to go before Derby's opening match of the 2025/26 Championship season against Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium, Football League World brings you all the latest news from Pride Park.
As reported by The Telegraph's John Percy, Derby are close to re-signing Crystal Palace midfielder David Ozoh on loan for the upcoming season.
His first stint with the club was marred by frequent fitness issues. Ozoh was unfortunately only able to feature in 10 of Derby's 46 Championship matches last term.
However, he made a huge impression in the East Midlands when he was available.
Eustace was only able to see Ozoh in action once before he picked up a thigh injury that would end his season, as he was stretchered off in the one outing under the manager against Millwall in February.
"He is a fantastic player," said Eustace, via BBC Radio Derby. "In my short period of working with him, you can see he has great qualities."
Now, Eustace is set to link up with the youngster again, and the goal will be to keep Ozoh fit, with there clearly being a talented player there.
EFL Green Clubs is a league-wide voluntary scheme, aiming to support EFL clubs to improve their environmental practices and operations.
Launching in 2021, it was updated last season to introduce a new assessment cycle awarding participating clubs with either a bronze, silver or gold label.
Having achieved bronze status, Derby's COO Simon Carnall said via club media: "We are delighted that Derby County has achieved Bronze Status as an EFL Green Club and also be a GreenCode accredited club."
"Football has an unequalled power to drive change, and we are committed to playing our part both at Pride Park Stadium and Moor Farm Training Ground, as well as across the local community."
"We have implemented several environmentally sustainable practices across the club in the last year, including a 'Green Team' working group, and we will continue to do so over the course of the forthcoming campaign."
EFL Green Clubs currently has around 30 EFL clubs signed up to the scheme, with the assessment cycle taking place across two seasons, with a development season, in which clubs identify key areas of priority and begin to implement sustainability measures and protocols.
As reported by Derbyshire Live, John Eustace has said that new arrivals Andi Weimann and Danny Batth will help drive his standards in the Rams' dressing room, and will also bring major quality to the pitch.
The duo joined the club from Blackburn Rovers this summer, after opting to join up with the old manager at Ewood Park.
"I think they will keep calm heads in the dressing room," said Eustace via Derbyshire Live.
"There's going to be difficult moments throughout the season, but they've been there and done it, and they know how to get through it."
"They know how I like to work as well so they can drive my standards in the dressing room, but they've also got a big part to play on the pitch."
"You have to remember Andi scored 10 goals last season, which is a fantastic achievement from being a number 10," said the 45-year-old, before adding on Batth: "Over the last five seasons, I think Danny's finished in the play-offs four times, so we're bringing in good experience just to help the group."
The Austrian attacker scored seven times for Rovers in the Championship last term, making 30 appearances for the club. Batth appeared 37 times for the club as they narrowly missed out on the play-offs.
As reported by the BBC, Derby captain Ebou Adams believes the Rams will "make a statement" during their upcoming Championship campaign.
The Rams lost just two of their last 11 matches following two successive losses when Eustace took over in February, and this is the sort of form that Adams is keen on carrying over into the upcoming term.
Speaking to BBC Radio Derby, Adams said: "I think we will make a statement this season. I say this all the time, there's no point in playing football if you're not going to have that belief."
"You're allowed to dream and dreams do come true, so I'll play with loads of hope, loads of belief. We've got the backing from the gaffer, the players, the fans, so I'll be looking forward to it."
Eustace named Adams as Derby's captain in February, and the 29-year-old was announced as the Rams Player of the Season after playing 44 times in the Championship.
The midfielder scored six goals as the Rams successfully fought off relegation back to League One.
