Derby County are turning away their interest in Leicester City goalkeeper Daniel Iversen as they progress on a Jacob Widell Zetterstrom deal, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
The Rams parted ways with goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith after the expiration of his contract in June and now are shorthanded in their goalkeeper department.
Derby, who are newly promoted to the Championship, have had Leicester star Iversen on their list as a possible signing.
Leicester earned promotion to the Premier League last season, which saw Iversen receive a wage hike.
Warne is keen on adding an experienced goalkeeper to his squad, but it looks as if he is giving up on the idea of getting Iversen.
Derby are instead working to bring in Djurgarden goalkeeper Widell Zetterstrom.
They are suggested to have an agreement in place on a fee for the Swedish shot-stopper and will look to get the deal over the line.
It remains to be seen what other options Iversen has to move this summer as he looks for regular game time.
